Video Production Intern

About the Role

We're looking for a Video Production Intern who loves being behind (and in front of) a camera and has a sharp eye for making spaces look their best on screen.

Your main job is to film and edit short-form videos of our Urby properties — houses, rooms, common spaces — in a way that captures their character and makes people want to invest. You'll work closely with the Marketing and Operations teams to plan shoots, coordinate with house managers, and deliver polished content that lives on our social channels, app, and marketing materials.

We're a small team, so you'll get real ownership over the content you produce. If you have a feel for aesthetics, know your way around a camera and editing software, and want your work to actually be seen by thousands of people — this is the role for you.

Requirements

• Comfortable operating a camera (phone or dedicated camera) and capturing good footage independently
• Proficient in video editing — CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Good eye for composition, lighting, and framing
• Able to travel around the Klang Valley area for shoots
• Self-directed — can plan and execute a shoot without heavy supervision
• Communicates clearly and delivers on time

Nice to have

Not mandatory — strong candidates from different backgrounds are welcome.

• Experience filming real estate, interiors, or lifestyle content
• Drone piloting licence or experience with aerial footage
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, etc.) for thumbnails or social assets
• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts formats
• Own camera equipment (DSLR, mirrorless, or action cam)
